We are thrilled to have Chef Yuko Kaneko, cook and pack custom bento boxes using authentic flavors with seasonal, high quality ingredients. The prepared bento box will be delivered to your doorstep the day of the event. Simply sit back and savor a supper that honors both the local landscape and traditional Japanese cuisine.

To complement this meal, AIM’s CEO, Andy Naja-Riese will present the latest updates on the designs and development of the Center for Food and Agriculture, future home to a world-class, climate-friendly, farmers market and learning center. Andy will then moderate an inspiring conversation celebrating the impact of Japanese farming traditions in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. A panel of farmers and food-makers will share their experiences and contributions as Japanese-Americans in cultivating a healthy local and regional food system. Joining us for the discussion, Ron Sakamoto and Kiyo Usugi, second generation farmers, Mume Farms and Ross Koda, owner of Koda Farms, California's oldest family-owned and operated rice farm & mill.
